What better way to recognize Labor Day, than sipping the fruits of our laborious old vines and eating cheesy rinds?! Join us at either our Amador or Paso Robles Tasting Room on Labor Day Weekend 8/31 - 9/2 as we feature the 2017 vintage of our - Turley ‘Steacy Ranch’ Zinfandel!
Almost as old as the Federal holiday itself, one could argue the 112-year-old Steacy Ranch Vineyard embodies the spirit of Labor Day perfectly: it pays tribute (in grapes) to the contributions of those who labor over its vines. This vineyard was one of the first planted on St. George rootstock in Lodi, which has since become the gold standard for Zinfandel in California. Hailing from 1907, the Zinfandel vines in this sandy-soiled vineyard are interspersed with Grenache, Carignane, and Mission varieties as well, all common bedfellows in these classic old California vineyards.
Special tasting menus featuring old-vine-vineyards will be poured all weekend long at BOTH tasting rooms from at 10am-5pm. As always, wine available by the glass or bottle to enjoy on our verandas.
Amador - Saturday 8/31 local “Cheese Specialist” Kathleen Sylvester offering a complimentary assorted cheese sampling from 11 - 4 pm!
Paso Robles – Local cheese and charcuterie available for purchase all weekend long!
$10 tasting includes five wines and will be waived with purchase of two bottles.
Active Mailing List will receive 2 complimentary tastings.
We hope to see you here enjoying the fruits of our labor!
