A collaborative event with the Amador Vintners, Behind the Cellar Door is a weekend filled with delectable food pairings, educational seminars, and hard-to-find wines all in an intimate Amador Wine Country setting. Behind the Cellar Door guests receive a commemorative wine glass for all of your weekend tastings, as well as thoughtful food pairings, themed seminars, entertainment and demonstrations guaranteed to enhance your knowledge and appreciation of remarkable Amador wines.
How does it work? When you purchase your ticket through AmadorWine.com, choose your starting winery (of course we recommend you start at Turley, but there are 43 member wineries participating). There, on the day of the event, you will pick up your wristband, event program and wine glass.
Start your BCD experience off right with us at Turley! Saturday & Sunday, March 2nd – 3rd, 11am – 4pm: “Amador Family Affair Tasting.” Bell, Rinaldi, Cobb, and Upton! Find out what lured these local legends to the foothills and taste the modern-day fruits of their labor. Join us to explore their family histories and get a behind-the-scenes look of the grit and gumption needed to create vineyards that stand the test of time.
