A collaborative event with the Amador Vintners Association, Behind the Cellar Door is a weekend filled with delectable food pairings, educational seminars, and hard-to-find wines all in an intimate Amador Wine Country setting!
Guests receive a commemorative wine glass for your weekend tastings, as well as thoughtful food pairings, themed seminars, entertainment and demonstrations guaranteed to enhance your knowledge and appreciation of Amador wines. When purchasing your ticket, choose your starting winery (of course we recommend you start at Turley, but there are 43 member wineries participating) where, on event day, you will pick up your wristband, event program and wine glass.
Here at Turley, we created a progressive Zinfandel tasting designed to explore the differences between wines from young versus old vines, California versus Amador blends, and finally regional wines versus single vineyard designates. This tasting menu features several 2018 vintage wines, and our inaugural Amador Old Vines!
